1. Do They Charge per Week, and How Do They Bill?

Make sure you're comparing the same thing. Doody Pros charges per week and bills once a month, automatically: $15 a week for one dog.

2. How Much Does Each Extra Dog Add?

Multi-dog homes should check this first. Ours is $5 per additional dog per week. And if your dog has puppies, let your service know. A new litter means a lot more waste in the yard.

3. Is the First Cleanup Priced Separately?

Many services charge for an initial catch-up visit if the yard has buildup, so ask up front. At Doody Pros we usually charge for the first cleanup up front, but if you've been keeping up on the yard, tell us. We can often reduce it.

4. What Are the Commitment and Cancellation Terms?

Some companies are month-to-month; others have a minimum term. Doody Pros has no contract: pause or cancel anytime.

5. Are There Yard-Size Surcharges?

Large lots take longer. We add $10 per service day over ¼ acre, and we're flexible depending on the yard.

6. What Happens with Gates and Pets?

Ask how they make sure gates are latched and what they do if your dog is in the yard. We latch every gate and send you a photo after every visit, and we ask that dogs be inside so no one slips out.

Gear that goes yard to yard should be cleaned between stops. Ours is disinfected between every yard.

7. Where Does the Waste Go?

Bagged in your trash or hauled away: either can work, but you should know.

8. Are They Local, and How Long Have They Been Around?
